Travel Diary #5 Taipei to Bali

6/2/18

We landed in Taipei, Taiwan and we only have these 24 hours to see and do as much as possible here! Before we land in Bali we decided to stop at Taiwan for a little sightseeing. We arrived around 9 and met our driver to take us to some popular attractions. Taipei definitely is different than Okinawa, Japan. There are tall buildings everywhere housing their population of 2.7 million. Transportation is different as they drive on the right side and their cars are around the medium/large side.

Everything happened so fast. It really was an experience to see a new way of the uninterrupted liveliness of the city.

The first thing we went to is the National Palace Museum. Why go to a museum? Cause I can, and also to see some beautiful and ancient art and history. The next place we went is Taipei 101, the tallest building in the world. It serves as an office/mall/shopping center. Absolutely beautiful. Breathtaking view. I recommend that this is a place you should not miss if you ever go to Taipei.

And of course, we went to the night market. I’ve never been as close and crowded with strangers in my life, except maybe a concert. It was just shops and shops galore. Food vendors and trucks left and right. There was a bunch of knock-off brands too. My legs hurt so much at the end of the day.

Landed in Malaysia for the time being.

Now in Bali, Indonesia!!! I’m so tired and it’s about 4 in the morning. I’ll see you in the next post!

I’ve been thinking, and I decided I should start a little travel diary. I know I’ll be making videos on my travels but I also thought that keeping a picture/diary/log will keep you guys informed on what I’ll be doing around here. They’ll be sort and sweet since I’ll more than likely have a vlog connected to these posts which I will post later of after the diaries.
