Album Review: Mac Demarco This Old Dog

I have been waiting for this album for a very very long time. And at last it finally came out on May 5, the day before I went to see Chance The Rapper. Mac Demarco is coming clean in this brand new side of himself in the album This Old Dog. In this album we a given a collective storyline of emotions through all the tracks. There is something very special about this album, it shows growth and past reflections of new and old emotions and comtemplations. This is truly a master piece of an album. This however is not a mini album review, that will come in its own time. In this song Still Beating, from what I understand from the lyrics this song is Mac himself apologizing for his past actions of interest and silliness to others than his own lover, or girlfriend Kiki. I love this song and has now become a new favorite for me in my Mac Demarco collections. Honestly all his songs share a special place in my heart. He has got to be the only artist besides Björk, where I have listen and gave a chance to every single song he sings. I love this guy and his music.

Give it a listen, give music a chance.
