SOTW #10

Hello my Birdies, lately I’ve been writing a lot of poetry and reading books and it slipped my mind to talk about music and my songs of the week. This is what I’ve been listening to recently:

Baby Blue by King Krule

Late Bloomers by The Growlers

I’m on my way to go listen he album Ctrl by SZA. I heard some really good things about it so I can’t wait to hear it, especially because she is a female artist.

Give it a listen, give music a change.

Finally the sun fades in the summer heat

It is out of the question how day is night

Let me know about your day and I’ll tell you about mine

Words are inside out and upside down between teeth and finger

I am tired and so are you, we sleep

30 Days of Songs: Day #28

Day 28: A song by an artist whose voice you love

Morrissey baby!! Morrissey from the The Smiths has such a lovely, sexy, somber voice. I absolutely love him and can’t get enough of him. Someday I will see him in concert.

Disappointed by Morrissey

Last of the Famous International Playboy by Morrissey , I am that boy dancing in his room

There is a Light that Never Goes Out by The Smiths

I have two of their records and I remember those summer days listening to them over and over in my room. Such sad yet heartwarming music.

Give it a listen, give music a chance.

30 Days of Songs: Day #27

Day 27: A song that breaks your heart.

Bookends Theme-Reprise by Simon and Garfunkle

Ladies and Gentleman We are Floating In Space by Spiritualized

This is me and my mom’s sad song, it also appears in the movie Vanilla Sky which I have mentioned before.

The Only Living Boy In New York by Simon and Garfunkle

Heroes by David Bowie

This always makes me want to cry, it hurts so much to listen to this.

Give it a listen, give music a chance.
